They will learn about writing different kinds of cover letters and resumes and how to prepare for a job interview. And then how to evaluate a job offer. The five jobs featured are fast growing jobs that are accessible to most students.
Follow-up activities include practical application math, basic comprehension questions to reinforce understanding, and practical writing exercises. Some questions ask students to think about the information given and express their opinions and ideas.
The vocabulary section includes a glossary of words and phrases students may not be familiar with plus activities to test understanding of the new words and phrases.
