It has a sturdy construction and will retain its shape. This French-style brush features light brown, synthetic fibers in plastic quills. Certified green manufacturing with sustainable wood handles. Handmade in Germany at our family-owned factory since 1890.

- Thicker fibers placed on the outside work with thinner fibers in the middle to trap and hold water & color. These varying diameters create a fine point, stable shape, and energetic spring.
- Series 488 quill round with the dancing tip is excellent for watercolor, gouache, acrylic, silk painting, calligraphy and ink.
- Generously sized and hand shaped, its unique point allows for full strokes across the paper, while coming back to a perfect point.
- Seamless, nickel-plated brass ferrules are rust-resistant and long lasting.
